"My market goat is named Strawberry & she is an even tempered, sweet girl! She was very well behaved in both my market & showmanship class. I will miss her when I sell on Saturday at the livestock sale!

My mom was in 4-H growing up and showed pigs & horses. She went on to be a member of the Merced FFA and was FFA Sweetheart as well as a central Ca regional officer. My 3 older sisters all showed in 4-H & FFA as well and it looked fun & rewarding.

4-H has taught me the responsibility of caring for an animal day in and day out. It’s important to learn that responsibility as a kid so I can go on to be a Veterinarian and care for others animals. It has also taught me about managing money and being financially responsible so I am able to purchase a new animal and supplies each year."
