Friends Of The Merced County Fair
Purpose & Mission
Friends of the Merced County Fair, the Fair’s non-profit foundation formed 2008, led by a group of volunteers. Their primary purpose is to secure grants and tax-deductible charitable donations in an effort to fulfill their mission of maintaining and improving the Merced County Fair and Merced County Fairgrounds as a community, cultural and educational asset.
Since its inception, Friends of the Merced County Fair has raised more than $1 million for continued improvements to the Merced County Fairgrounds that the entire community can enjoy through the annual Merced County Fair and the more than 280 interim events throughout the year.
