Mavrik is a El Nido 4-H student and a 7th grader at Wilson Middle School. Here's what he has to say about his project, and why he became involved in 4-H.

“I am raising a Hampshire Market Hog. His name is Rooter and he has a great personality!

 

I became involved in 4-H because my parents wanted to teach me how to raise animals and save for college. I also love animals!

 

Being in 4-H is important to me because it teaches me responsibility and how to raise money for my future."
