“I got interested in FFA because I have had family in it and thought it would bring me great opportunities. Once I joined FFA, I learned that it was bigger than raising an animal; it taught me about leadership and teamwork. I have been involved in many things throughout FFA, but one of the most fun for me has been my SAE project. For the past two years I have raised a market goat as my SAE project. This year my goat's name is Chip; she has a huge personality and acts just like a puppy. I have been working with her since February and since then she has learned many new skills. I have invested time, money and effort into my project and I look forward to showing my goat off during the Merced County Fair Virtual Livestock Sale.”
