Water Follies Aqua Ballerinas

The "world famous" Water Follies Aqua Ballerinas performed at the 1947 Merced County Fair. The musical review in water featured "bathing beauties in precision water ballet acts." A cast of 65 swimmers performed in a specially constructed pool billed as "the worlds’ largest portable pool" set up in front of the Grandstand.
