Merced County Fair Switching to Five Days

To save money, stretch budgets and avoid increasing admission and other prices, the Merced County Fair’s Board of Directors has decided to offer a five-day fair in 2011 – Wednesday, June 15 through Sunday, June 19. Reducing the fair’s run by one day – starting the fair on Wednesday instead of Tuesday – will be done on a trial basis, said the fair’s CEO, Tom Musser. [View more]

Tuesday through Friday, June 15-18, 5pm to 12:30am.

See "Day of" contest information in the free Exhibitor's Handbook. It contains instructions and rules for fair exhibitors. Books are available from the Fair office or view, download and print from the online handbook or entry forms.
Part of G Street Closed To Traffic during the Fair

To keep pedestrians safe when walking to or from the Merced County Fair, the portion of G Street between Childs Avenue and West 11th Street will be closed to through traffic during the fair. [Read more]
